Windsurfing and supping
The turquoise lagoon of Lac Bay is a sight in itself. The whopping 7-acre lagoon is shallow for much of it, making it very suitable for beginners. Thanks to the constant trade winds, it is also one of the best spots in the world for advanced windsurfers. Pro windsurfers from all over the world come here for a reason! If there is less wind, you can go supping or relax on the beach at the Hang-out beach bar.
Kite surfing
A stone’s throw from the villa are some great kite spots. The downwind makes for nice flat water and the steady wind does the rest. Through the kite school we can arrange lessons for you at all levels by professional instructors. They also have modern equipment and boats to get you back to shore if necessary. For experienced kiters, “down wind” trips to Klein Bonaire are also organized on a regular basis.
E-Foil surfing
Experience the latest craze! Floating over the water with an electric foil board. An E-foil can be thought of as an electric powered surfboard. Because of a mast and wings attached to the surfboard, you rise out of the water at a certain speed. So you are literally floating above the water with your surfboard! Through a hand controller you can accelerate and can also see on this how fast you are going. The beauty of E-foiling is that you don’t need wind or waves to do this.
